Labor Day Weekend 2007.
The NLMSF hosted the third annual Bridgefest over the Labor Day weekend in Mackinaw City, Michigan.
Events included shopping,
dinner out, visiting Mackinaw City and finally walking across the Bridge on Labor Day.
The Mackinaw Bridge is only
open to foot traffic one day a year - Labor Day. In 2007, over 30 participants
either walked or educated the public about LMS or tended
the tent with items for saleand accepted donations.
Bridgefest is a wonderful
opportunity to have get to know other LMS families, patients, survivors, and caregivers.
Everyone gets the chance to enjoy
the absolute beauty of upper Michigan while saying goodbye to summer.
