Dawn.JPG

Dawn Croce Peragallo (September 24, 1965-April 6, 2007):

Dawn was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend with an amazing zest for life. She received her BS in pharmacy from University of Connecticut and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Idaho State University. She lived in Clinton, New Jersey with her husband, Jeff, and her children Courtney (age 12) and Tyler (age 8). She enjoyed laughing, cooking, tap dancing, Halloween, being a girl scout leader and spending time with her family.

She was diagnosed at age 35 with LMS in her uterus. Over the next 5 years she never stopped fighting or having fun. She started a support group for children who's parents have cancer called Kids2Kids at her local therapy center and worked so hard to get awarenss about LMS to others. She kept an inspirational email diary of her courageous journey with cancer onto death which has been shared with thousands across the world and her dream was to someday make it into a book (we are currently working at making that dream come true).

She lived life to its fullest and enjoyed every day as though it was her last. She will always be remembered for her infectious "sillyness" and her amazing courage and strength.

Phyllis Joan Salo
(June 5, 1951 - October 8, 2007)

Phyllis was a beloved wife; mother of 3 sons; grandmother; and friend to many with a joy for life and helping others. She lived in Clarksburg, Michigan with her husband of 37 years, Donald, and her youngest son Shawn. Her other 2 sons Daniel, and William lived close by. The "sparkle in her eye", Ethan, her 10 year old grandson lived an hour away.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, stained glass and crafts, and volunteering her time to numerous local organizations to helping others in need. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with many local friends and friends she made online through the Leiomyosarcoma website. She enjoyed going out of her way to brighten others days that were battling LMS that she never physically met, but called her fellow warriors.

She was diagnosed at age 52 with Uterine LMS. Over the next 4 years she never stopped fighting, never gave up hope, and continued to help and support others with LMS and many other types of cancer.

GRANDMA DIANE

Written with love by Natalie Louise

She was the most beautiful woman I knew.

With high energy & spirit she could always lighten the mood.

She loved warm baths & of course Charlie Brown & I don't think I ever saw her frown, her crazy concoctions she said it was "food".

& her special scent could always light a room.

She ironed everything her creases just right.

She'd always sing to me...it wasn't always that good, I never told her ‘cuz she thought she could.

She loved Justin Timberlake, he's not that good, but she thought he was great.

She loved entertainment tonight, people magazines, and channel 12 news papa didn't know why but he gave her the remote and let her choose.

Her skin was perfect & her house was always neat.

She loved her flip flops on her cute little feet.

Coffee was her dipping source for everything she'd eat.

She always had us over for pizza, hotdogs, Mac& cheese.  She loved her daughters to come over late at night for tea.

Max said she made the best noodles just like her mom made the best bread, I think she practiced at night because Papa said she never went to bed.

She did her yoga & workout after her bath, yeah she was weird but she always made us laugh.

Her daughters & her sister were her very best friends & they were up until the very end.

She just loved the city she thought it was very pretty.

The sound of the ocean was her favorite thing to hear.

She always loved her family always to be very near.

The love for her family oh I don't know where to start.

First off her pets had a very special place in her heart.

She loved her girls to the sky & back, but sometimes I think she loved her 11 grandkids more than that.

Her husband Paul was everything she'd ever need, they loved each other more than anything I'd ever seen.

My grandma was amazing if you didn't know.

She loved everyone with her heart & her soul.

If you didn't know her that's a shame but you'll meet her beautiful face someday.

We'll miss your loving heart and gentle soul, your tons of kisses, and hands to hold.

Although we can't see you we know you're still here.

Because there is a little bit of her in all of us & that is so clear.

So she can't be gone she'll stay if you let her in your hearts forever & on.

We all love you grandma to the sky & back & as big as the world.
