Jen Croce Smith, DVM
I grew up in Madison, New Jersey and now live in Perrysburg, Ohio with my husband
Kevin, my two girls Giuliana (age 5) and Madeline (age 1 1/2), and my zoo- 2 dogs, Spirit and Fletcher and 2 cats, Nemo and
Scram.
I lost my beloved sister, Dawn Croce Peragallo , in April 2007 to LMS and my continued involvement
in the National Leiomyosarcoma Foundation is a tribute to her. I will continue to work hard for the research and awareness
of this disease in the hopes that soon we will find a cure.
My background includes a BS in Zoology from
Miami University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University. I am currently a vet at South
Suburban Animal Hospital where I treat animals for cancer. In addition to serving on the board of directors for the NLMSF,
I am also the Membership Committee chairperson. I have extensive experience in memberships for a variety of organizations
and look forward to serving this foundation.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, fishing, cooking and sleeping:)
