HugFest
2008
Another
successfull HugFest! Everyone had a good time and we had quite a few first timers. The weather was great for all
the planned activities.
We began Thursday afternoon and evening in the hotel lobby for the meet and greet.
Friday morning it was load up and head out to downtwon Philly to Pennsylvania Hospital for program and tour. Then everytone
hopped on the trolleys and toured downtown Philly. We met back at the hotel for a great dinner and an evening
of getting to know each other and talk to others that we have so much in common with. Saturday is the big day that most
people try to attend. We had a wonderful brunch and some very good information was passed along through the speakers.
The Doctors updated us on their research projects, and the board of directors was introduced.
The board gave a
brief update on changes for the Foundation and encouraging everyone to get involved in the projects and help out wherever
possible. We need everyone working together to make this successful. The new changes are slowly being implemented they
will be more and more noticable as time goes on, and we will keep you updated.
Lori Hoag has resigned as Secretary
and Sharlene Zagozewski has been voted in as the new secretary.
We will try to update the Dragon Slayer

Are you planning on attending BridgeFest?
August 30-Sept 1, 2008, Mackinaw City MI. Once again most are staying at the Days Inn right across from our NLMSF Booth
on Labor Day. Joni Fixel has the info and I will get it from her and get it postedASAP. These are the dates so
you can make your plans. Saturday will be a free day, there are so many things to do and see in Northern MI, you may
pick your own. Sunday evening we will gather for a group dinner, then Monday is the big bridge walk day. Those
who do not walk will man the booth and raise awareness. We will have our annual BBQ cooked by Doug. We will have
LMS info available and we will be selling water.
