Dawn was a
beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend with an amazing zest for life. She received her BS in pharmacy
from University of Connecticut and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Idaho State University. She lived in Clinton, New Jersey
with her husband, Jeff, and her children Courtney (age 12) and Tyler (age 8). She enjoyed laughing, cooking, tap dancing,
Halloween, being a girl scout leader and spending time with her family.
She
was diagnosed at age 35 with LMS in her uterus. Over the next 5 years she never stopped fighting or having fun. She started
a support group for children who's parents have cancer called Kids2Kids at her local therapy center and worked so hard
to get awarenss about LMS to others. She kept an inspirational email diary of her courageous journey with cancer onto death
which has been shared with thousands across the world and her dream was to someday make it into a book (we are currently working
at making that dream come true).
She lived life to
its fullest and enjoyed every day as though it was her last. She will always be remembered for her infectious "sillyness"
and her amazing courage and strength.
